Freddie past away in 1991 saddest day for me.

I was always a Queen fanatic have every album every anthology every live album they ever put out. I still remember the day they announced Freddie's death , I literly cried it hit hard . I'm glad I seen them live in Toronto during the Game album tour.

My first concert was Day on The Green 1983 with The Fixx, Madness, Thompson Twins, Oingo Boingo and The Police. Some of the best memories of my life that day.

Best Band ever and the first 3 Albums are Classics while the others are only great !! So underrated, been lucky enough to see them twice live here in New Zealand. Beautiful Guitar interplay by these geniuses.

You should just feel blessed that you heard the best band in the world.

Some top drawer sessioners on stage that night... Steven Lipson, Steve Howe, Phil Palmer, Horn himself, the Astari Strings, Louis Jardim.... world class players.

Queen is the low hanging fruit on comps, imo…. Throw in ELO, XTC, Cheap Trick, Supertramp, Badfinger, Bigstar, to name a few….

Basically you’re familiar with the worst of Queen, the ‘invisible man’ stage, one of the worst songs in music history. They were at their best until A Day At The Races, then they were okay and then Innuendo was good again.

Ronson was gift to Bowie's rise. W/out Ronson Bowie would not have entered 70 mainstream. Everything past Aladdin Sane and Diamond Dogs by Bowie sucked. Angie Bowie confirmed. I had the privilege to jam w/Ronson in 92 in Germany prior to his passing. What a down to earth person he was. Thank god Ian Hunter saw the talent Ronson had. Respectfully saying, Bowie screwed the Spiders.

The best song in the world

Their first two albums are quite a different experience, highlights are Suburban Love , and Love is infectious. Don't expect the same level of production though.

To think, he had several heart attacks during the making of this album is testimony to his spirit! He was determined to finish in the way he wanted.

Probably my favourite bowie album apart from maybe Aladdin sane diamond dogs or space oddity low and the rest 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿👨🏻‍🎤

Don’t know what live recordings you’ve watched. Others have commented on the drugs issue. Music was his drug. Nothing more. There’s a ton of unbelievable live performances on UA-cam. I suppose you’re into it or you’re not. Rory was at his best live. Sheer energy from the whole band, that were as tight an outfit as you’ll see. Rory made extremely difficult technique look effortless. The guy was a one off. Very much missed.

This was the first song if theirs I heard in 99 when I was 13 and it really made me think it was possible for there to be such a thing as objectively "the greatest band on the planet" needless to say I was hooked, loved opeth ever since

The fact that song manages to instill such a sense of nostalgia even though I only heard it 2-3 years ago amazes me. Most nostalgic songs are songs we’ve heard when we were kids.

Yeah, not the best song to react to, IMO. Best track on the album, IMO, is Pale Horse. Naglfar's best era was with Jens Ryden on vocals : Brimstone Gate, Blades, When Autumn Storms Come, I Am Vengeance, Unleash Hell, As The Twilight Gave Birth To The Night, etc. Still, quite some gems after his leave and with Kristoffer on vocals : Way Of The Rope, A Swarm Of Plagues, Murder Manifesto, Pale Horse, etc. Big fan of them, but since Téras, a lot less :( They sound more like the generic death melodic bands ... Only my 2 cents ! Can please a lot of people, but not for me.

I found your channel looking for Infected Mushroom reactions, and I noticed you said you were more into prog metal so IM weren't really your thing. I strongly recommend giving Project 100 a listen. There's another reaction channel who are also prog metal heads and they compared it to Dream Theater throughout the entire track.
